if you know me, you know i love the one little word that i discovered on ali edward's blog a few years ago.
One Little Word 2012
last year my word was make. here is my post from last year, it lists all the things i wanted to make. unfortunately, i failed at most of them except for making good grades and making it to our family vacation in july. ouch. i obviously didn't make a huge commitment to my word last year. i intend to change that this year.
my new word for 2012 is: LIVE
i recently found out some interesting news that could change the course of my life in a big way. in order to increase my odds of living a long life, i need to have some surgeries which will change my body forever. i have never had major surgeries and i can't say that i'm not scared. that's the main reason i chose live for 2012. i want to live. in fact, i still have a lot of living to do.
i also intend to live in other ways. like enjoying every moment and having fun. not letting anything hold me back. seeking adventure. embracing change and menopause. taking charge and living life.
in the words of good ole dolly, i better get to livin'!
ps. that tree above, it has been around for ages. it was that big when i was a kid. to me, it represents life.
