i am one of those loyal-to-the-end type friends. i make friends slowly, very slowly, so i end up cherishing my friendships whether great or small. luckily for me, i'm not one of those people who needs many friends or the most friends. each friend has a special place in my heart, not one is greater than the other and they all encourage me to be a better person. some i see often and some i rarely see. some i have known since childhood and some i've only just met. and none of them are like the other. isn't friendship grand?
but the loveliest friend is your sibling. someone once said that your sibling is the one friend you will know the longest, so cherish them.
